Five-gang charge
COME Sunday, at 9pm, the second season of Asean talent search Gang Starz will draw to a close in a colourful and much anticipated showdown between five groups. The two-hour extravaganza to be staged at Stadium Melawati in Shah Alam will be a contest between Malaysia’s One Nation Emcees and Akasia, the Philippines’ Paragon Child and 3.5, and Indonesia’s D’Reborn. The semi-finals on Aug 10 eliminated Indonesian harmony trio D’Raz, which obtained the least number of Short Messaging Service (SMS) votes from viewers. Fred Thompson telling the McCain story
Is Palin really a maverick choice? Fred Thompson is doing a good job tonight presenting the McCain biography. We're hearing a lot about hope. John McCain knows hope. As Thompson's speech mentioned...being a POW does not qualify McCain to be president....but it DOES give us an idea of McCain's character. And it's that CHARACTER that makes the difference. The freedoms we enjoy (and for some people...that take these freedoms for granted..like you CV) are ours only because of the bravery displayed by our troops throughout U.S. As Thompson's speech mentioned...being a POW does not qualify McCain to be presiden...

GOP ready to rumble
U.S. U.S. 2008 Pres. ST. She’s tough, she’s thick-skinned and she seems to be very bright,” said U.S. Rep. Jim Ramstad (R-Minn.). Former Mississippi Sen. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee also came to her defense, calling the recent focus on Palin’s home life “unfortunate,” and saying the revelations have “nothing to do with Sarah Palin being a wonderful vice president for Sen. I’m confident that it will not be the focus of her remarks,” a McCain campaign official told the Herald. “She’s going to the convention to talk about her record and go over what it is that made Sen. Palin hastily canceled an appearance at a pro-life event in St. Gov. Palin is an open book,” said the McCain campaign official. The father of her unborn grandchild, Levi Johnston, will attend the speech with her pregnant daughter Bristol. While Sen. Barack Obama forcefully condemned any criticism of Palin’s daughter, U.S. Rep. ...
